The MyActuator X8-120 is an RMD-X V4 integrated planetary joint actuator - a complete robot joint in a single unit that combines a high-power-density BLDC motor, a tempered-gear planetary reducer, an FOC driver and dual encoders into one sealed, bus-controlled module. The V4 generation adds EtherCAT alongside CAN and a feedforward motion mode for dynamic, force-controlled movement. It eliminates the need to engineer your own motor + gearbox + driver + encoder stack, which is why integrated smart actuators are the single most important building block of a modern humanoid robot.
