ZFX-13001 12V DC High Precision Capacitive Humidity Controller
Overview
The ZFX-13001 is a digital humidity control system (humidistat) designed to:
Measure relative humidity using a capacitive sensor
Automatically control external devices (humidifier/dehumidifier) via a relay output
It is not just a sensor it is a closed-loop control device (measurement + decision + switching).
Working Principle
1. Capacitive Humidity Sensing
Uses a polymer capacitive humidity sensor
Moisture absorption changes dielectric constant changes capacitance
Internal circuitry converts this into digital humidity value
Provides stable and accurate RH measurement over a wide range.
2. Control Logic (Humidistat Operation)
The controller compares:
User-set threshold (setpoint)
Then controls output via relay:
Dehumidification Mode (H)
If RH > setpoint relay ON
If RH drops to threshold relay OFF
Humidification Mode (C)
If RH < setpoint relay ON
If RH reaches threshold relay OFF
Includes hysteresis (difference value) to prevent rapid switching.
