Tilt Sensor Vibration Alarm Vibration Switch Module for Arduino
Tilt Sensor Vibration Alarm / Vibration Switch Module
Overview
The Tilt Sensor Vibration Switch Module is a compact module used to detect vibration, movement, or tilt and generate a digital trigger signal.
Commonly used in:
Anti-theft alarm systems
Motion detection projects
Luggage/security alarms
Vibration monitoring
Working Principle
The module contains a vibration/tilt switch (spring or ball type):
At rest no contact no signal
When shaken/tilted internal contact touches signal generated
Works based on mechanical movement and switchingOften paired with a comparator (like LM393) for VIBRATION SENSOR MODULE Detects: Vibration/Tilt Voltage: 3.3V 5V Output: Digital (HIGH/LOW) Response: Instant Sensitivity: Adjustable Type: Mechanical switch
Pin Configuration
Vibration Sensor Module VCC 3.3V/5V GND Ground DO Digital Output
Some modules may also include AO (analog output)

Working Example
Anti-Theft Alarm:
Device is stationary no output
Someone moves it vibration detected
Output HIGH buzzer/alarm triggered
Important Notes
May trigger due to small unwanted vibrations
Not suitable for precise motion measurement
Needs proper sensitivity adjustment
Mechanical wear over time
Vibration Sensor vs Accelerometer
