Photo Control Automatic Light Based Sensor
Photo Control Automatic Light Sensor
Overview
The Photo Control Light Sensor Module is a module that automatically turns devices ON/OFF based on ambient light levels.
Commonly used in:
Street lights
Automatic home lighting
Garden lights
Security lighting systems
Working Principle
The module uses an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor):
Bright light resistance decreases
Darkness resistance increases
Based on Photoresistor
The circuit compares light level with a set threshold
When it gets dark output triggers light turns ON
When it's brig PHOTO CONTROL SENSOR Detects: Light intensity Voltage: 3.3V 5V / 220V Output: Digital / Relay Action: Auto ON in dark Action: OFF in daylight Adjustable sensitivity
Pin / Terminal Configuration
Low Voltage Module (Arduino Type)
Light Sensor Module VCC 3.3V/5V GND Ground DO Digital Output AO Analog Output (opt)
AC Photo Control (Street Light Type)

Key Specifications
Operating Voltations
Street light automation
Smart home lighting
Garden/yard lights
Parking lights
Security lighting
Interfacing
Works with:
Arduino
ESP32 / ESP8266
Or directly controls AC lights (relay type)
Working Example
Street Light System:
Daytime sensor detects light lights OFF
Night darkness detected lights ON automatically
Important Notes
Avoid placing near artificial light (false triggering)
Calibrate sensitivity properly
AC versions require careful handlin>LDR Module Photo Control Unit Output Low voltage Direct AC control Use Microcontroller Standalone system Complexity Moderate Very simple
Pro Tip
Place sensor facing natural light source (sky)
Use relay module for controlling high-power loads
Ideal for automatic lighting and energy-saving syst
