Overview

The Photo Control Light Sensor Module is a module that automatically turns devices ON/OFF based on ambient light levels.

Commonly used in:

  • Street lights

  • Automatic home lighting

  • Garden lights

  • Security lighting systems

 

Working Principle

The module uses an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor):

  • Bright light resistance decreases

  • Darkness resistance increases

 

Based on Photoresistor

  • The circuit compares light level with a set threshold

  • When it gets dark output triggers light turns ON
