What Is It?

Technical Specifications

How It Works

• The sensor contains a float with a magnet inside.

• Inside the stem is a reed switch.

• When liquid level rises:

  • Float moves magnet approaches reed switch.

   

• The reed switch opens or closes (ON/OFF signal)ction

  • Two wires (no polarity)

  • Acts like a simple switch

   

  With microcontroller:

  • Connect one wire GND

  • Other digital input with pull-up resistor

   

  Working Behavior

  • No Liquid / Low Level Switch OFF (or ON depending on orientation)

  • Liquid Present Switch ON (or OFF)

   

  You can reverse behavior by flipping the float.

  Important Notes

  • Only Detects Level (Not Continuous Measurement)
