Heat Flame Sensor Module

Fire Detection Safety Monitoring Fast Response

The Flame Sensor Module (often called a Heat Flame Sensor) is an electronic sensor designed to detect fire or flame sources by sensing infrared light emitted by flames. It is commonly used in fire detection systems, safety alarms, robotics, and industrial monitoring applications.

Flames emit strong infrared radiation in the 7601100 nm wavelength range, which the sensor detects to identify the presence of fire.

Working Principle

The sensor detects infrared radiation emitted by flames.

Step-by-Step Operation

1 Fire or flame emits infrared radiation.2 The flame sensor detects the IR light.3 The signal is converted into an electrical voltage.4 The module processes the signal using the LM393 comparator.5 If the signal exceeds the threshold, the digital output becomes HIGH or LOW (depending on module configuration).
