📌 Uses SPI protocol (read-only device).
🧠 How It Works
Thermocouple senses temperature and produces a small voltage (µV level).
MAX6675 amplifies and converts this into digital temperature data.
Data is sent to microcontroller via SPI communication.
Microcontroller reads and displays temperature.
📌 Applications
Industrial temperature monitoring
Furnaces & kilns
3D printer hotends
Boilers & heating systems
Metal processing & welding
High-temperature research projects
⚠️ Important Notes
Only Positive Temperatures: Cannot measure below 0°C.
SPI Read Delay: New reading every ~220 ms.
Proper Wiring: Thermocouple polarity must be correct.
Noise Sensitivity: Keep wires short or shielded in noisy environments.
Better Alternative: MAX31855 (supports negative temperatures).
